A sustainable approach
At Bathgate we strive to operate a manufacturing process that is environmentally efficient, as well as using recycled or sustainably produced raw materials wherever possible in our production processes.
The high density particleboard used for the core in all Permaflor panels uses 90% recycled materials.
Waste timber produced in the manufacturing process is used in a solid fuel-powered warm air system to heat the factory.
The galvanised steel facing material used in our floor panels contains a proportion of recycled steel.
